French B2B E-Invoicing Business Analyst

Key conditions:

Pay rate - €600/day (the project may extend into Belgium e-Invoicing afterwards)

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced E-Invoicing Business Analyst to support their readiness for the upcoming mandatory French B2B e-invoicing and e-reporting regulations.

This is a critical transformation role focused on ensuring compliance with the French tax authority (DGFiP) and aligning systems, processes, and data with the new framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities for French e-invoicing compliance (2026 mandate)
• Assess current invoicing processes and define target operating model (TOM)
• Support implementation of the Y-Model framework:
  • Public invoicing portal (PPF)
  • Certified private platforms (PDP)
• Define and validate enhanced invoice data requirements, including:
  • Customer SIREN number
  • Transaction classification
  • VAT on debits
• Ensure readiness for near Real Time e-reporting obligations to DGFiP
• Map in-scope transactions:
  • Domestic B2B goods/services
  • Advance payments
  • Second-hand goods scenarios
• Support handling of non-resident VAT-registered entities in France
• Work closely with IT, Finance, Tax, and external vendors

Key Requirements

• Proven experience delivering French e-invoicing/e-reporting projects
• Strong understanding of:
  • PPF/PDP architecture (Y-Model)
  • French VAT & compliance requirements
• Experience working with finance transformation/tax technology
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into business & technical solutions
• Stakeholder management across Finance, Tax, and IT
• Fluent French & English
