Working with a leading UK housebuilder who pride themselves on delivering high-quality homes with exceptional customer service in desirable locations where communities can thrive.
The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Temporary Site Manager for a short-term contract of up to 6 weeks. Assisting the Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a prestigious development using traditional construction techniques, ensuring plots are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Take direction from the No.1 Site Manager for all on-site activities, including coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and other site staff.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor project progress and report updates to the build manager and site manager.
- Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship.
- Resolve any on-site issues promptly and effectively.
- Liaise with customers, local authorities, and other stakeholders as required.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction, preferably with a housebuilder.
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- CSCS card and First Aid at Work qualification.Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and building standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
