Freelance SAP HCM Payroll Consultant - Dutch Payroll
12-Month Contract | Fully Remote | Freelance
We are currently looking for an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Consultant with strong Dutch Payroll experience to join an integration partner on a 12-month freelance engagement.
The consultant will work across a number of client projects, with a particular focus on new SAP Dutch Payroll implementations, as well as providing hands-on support and consultancy for existing customers.
This is a good opportunity for an experienced SAP Payroll consultant who enjoys working across different projects and clients and has solid knowledge of the Dutch payroll landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on new SAP Dutch Payroll implementations from design through to deployment.
- Provide hands-on SAP HCM Payroll consultancy across the full implementation life cycle.
- Support and enhance existing SAP Payroll solutions for established clients.
- Work closely with clients to understand payroll requirements and translate these into effective SAP solutions.
- Configure and maintain SAP HCM Payroll functionality.
- Support payroll testing, including unit testing, integration testing and parallel payroll runs.
- Investigate and resolve payroll issues and provide ongoing functional support.
- Work with integration teams where SAP Payroll interfaces with other HR and third-party systems.
- Provide guidance and expertise around Dutch payroll legislation, processes and statutory requirements.
- Produce functional documentation and support knowledge transfer where required.
Requirements
Essential:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP HCM Payroll.
- Proven experience working with SAP Dutch Payroll.
- Experience delivering Dutch Payroll implementations.
- Good understanding of Dutch payroll processes, legislation and statutory requirements.
- Experience across the SAP Payroll implementation life cycle.
- Strong functional configuration and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Fluent English & Dutch
Desirable:
- Experience supporting multiple SAP Payroll customers.
- Experience working for an SAP integration partner, consultancy or systems integrator.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP HCM for S/4HANA.
- Experience with integrations between SAP HCM Payroll and other HR systems.
Contract Details
- 12-month freelance contract
- Fully remote. Travel will only be required at key milestones during projects, very limited travel expected.
- Start date: ASAP/negotiable
- Opportunity to work across multiple Dutch Payroll projects
- Combination of new implementations and existing-client support
