We're Hiring: Freelance Project Manager
Location: Cumbria
Sectors: MOD New Build
Day rate: £350-400 pd
Duration: 20 weeks

We are looking for a Freelance Project manager for our client: a main contractor on a MOD fire improvements project on a secure facility, security clearance is desired for this position.

Key Responsibilities of the Freelance Project Manager:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of fire improvement projects across a MOD secure environment.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules. and budgets.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant fire safety legislations.
• Coordinate teams including contractors, subcontractors, fire engineers, and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with UK fire safety legislations.
• Adhere to the MOD specific standards and security protocols.
• Liaise with MOD representatives.
• Ensure design solutions meet MOD and secure facility requirements.

Required Qualifications/Experience as a Freelance Project Manager:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within a secure environment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of fire protection systems is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of design coordination and technical compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple consultants and maintain design programmes.
