Job Title: Project Manager
Salary: Fixed price of £30,000 (including VAT)
Terms: Freelance contract, July 2025 to June 2026
We are looking for an experienced project manager who has excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of negotiation, in particular with commercial leases and/ or developers. You will have the ability to work with a volunteer Board to develop a Business Plan, Fundraising Strategy and a development phase application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund. You will be willing to work with and collaborate with other consultants, specialists and experts on the project.
We are at an exciting time in the journey of the Hovercraft Museum.
A grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund has given us funding to enable the Museum to deliver our project - First steps in securing the future of the Hovercraft Museum. This project is an important step for the Museum providing support to help us to deliver our vision to provide a world-class museum telling the ongoing story of the Hovercraft in a way that captivates, inspires, and educates people. The Heritage Fund grant enables us the opportunity to offer the Project Manager consultancy contract to support this aim.
