Role description

Co-develop and improve science-backed products that make it simple for dog owners to support their dogs' daily health and well-being:


  • Centralise knowledge. Own a live knowledge base with formulas, COAs, ingredient briefs and ready-made Q&As so customer success and marketing always have fast, reliable answers. Own technical queries.
  • Help refine current and co-develop new product formulas.
  • Help improve palatability of hero-products and turn them into daily delights.
  • Help develop new forms of existing products.
  • Ongoing research and scout innovation work. Identify emerging ingredients and scientific trends/breakthroughs.


About you

  • You're genuinely excited to play an important role in helping millions of dog owners support their dogs' daily health and well-being.
  • You learn fast.
  • MSc (completed or currently enrolled) in Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Science, Biochemistry or a closely related field.
  • Bonus: working knowledge of canine nutrient requirements.
  • Able to translate complex science into easy-to-digest and actionable recommendations for non-scientist teams.


Practical details & requirement (all are non-negotiable)

  • Freelance;
  • 16 hours a week (flexible could be more or less);
  • On-site at least one day per week (potentially two), with additional weekly hours remotely.
