Why work for Learning Curve Group? PURPLE PERKS OF BECOMING AN ASSOCIATE

Aside from the amazing support you receive from your Tutor Delivery Manager, there are great reasons to come onboard as an Associate Tutor with Learning Curve Group.

Flexibility

As an associate tutor you have the luxury of picking and choosing how often you would like to teach to accommodate your other commitments. All employability courses differ in length and the number of days required from the tutor each week for delivery. You will receive all course information prior to accepting work.

Support

From day one you will receive support from your Tutor Delivery Manager, starting with an in depth onboarding process and a chance to ask all your questions. You will have regular contact and updates with your manager via Microsoft Teams or face to face if you're passing the office.

SHIFTS

We have invested in a live scheduling tool called SHIFTS for all our tutors in employability. As a tutor you will receive instructions on how to sign into the APP. Once you have completed your profile, you will receive notifications when a job has been assigned to you and can view all your upcoming courses that you have agreed with your Tutor Manager to deliver.

Standardisation Meetings

You will use your own initiative to complete the services, however LCG can specify working standards monitored by observations and twice yearly standardisation meetings. These meetings offer an excellent opportunity to learn and share best practice with other tutors nationwide.

We are diverse

We're unique - and we love that about you. As an equal opportunity employer, we encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, transgender status, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.

Associate tutors are self employed individuals and therefore responsible for making their own tax and NI contributions. A UTR number will be required, which you can apply for from HMRC. Unfortunately we cannot work with Ltd companies; you need to work as a sole trader.

Recruitment Checks

Recruitment Checks

Recruitment Checks Learners are at the centre of everything we do, so we are committed to safeguarding and promoting their welfare. The successful applicant will need to provide satisfactory references and prove eligibility to work in the UK. For this role, we will also carry out adverse media checks and a DBS check, and request information related to previous convictions if shortlisted. A previous conviction does not automatically rule you out unless you are barred from working with children or adults. We will follow our risk assessment process to understand the age, context, and relevance of the conviction(s).
