Overview

We're looking for interpreters who can speak Arabic, Farsi (Persian), Kurdish / Kurdish Sorani or other Middle Eastern languages. As a freelance interpreter, you will attend appointments in person to support our clients and their non English speaking service users in healthcare, legal, social services and public sector settings.

Responsibilities

• Interpret live conversations between clients and limited English speakers.
• Support communication in medical, legal, social services, and public sector settings.
• Ensure accurate, confidential, and culturally sensitive interpretation.
• Use our interpreting app to manage availability and assignments.
• Deliver excellent service that empowers people to access vital services.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Arabic, or Farsi (Persian), or Kurdish / Kurdish Sorani.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
