Painting & Drawing Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Painting & Drawing Teacher to join our creative teaching team for evening and weekend classes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver weekly art courses to students of varying ages and skill levels.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different student levels and learning styles.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in academic fine art training.
  • Confident teaching of drawing and painting.
  • Excellent knowledge of oil painting, acrylic, watercolour, and charcoal.
  • Solid understanding of human anatomy for life drawing.
  • Previous teaching experience preferred.
  • Patience, professionalism, and enthusiasm when working with adult students and those from mixed cultural and technical backgrounds.
Working Hours
  • On-site teaching, usually 4 hours per day.
  • Weekday classes: 4:00-6:00 pm, 6:30-8:30 pm, 10:00-12:00, 13:00-15:00, 15:30-17:30.
  • Maximum 10 students per class.
  • Flexible scheduling to allow other professional commitments.
  • 2 month probation period. After probation you may continue the same freelance hours or expand into one to one private tuition.

Freelance Fashion Design Tutor

Join our Portfolio Preparation Department as a freelance tutor focusing on one to one tuition for students building portfolios for university applications and professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional guidance for university applications, foundation & BA fashion courses.
  • Plan and structure individualized lesson programmes.
  • Design research and maintain up to date subject knowledge.
  • Occasionally participate in workshops and external creative activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design (or closely related discipline).
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction & structure, materials, and fabric technologies.
  • High level personal portfolio and professional body of work.
  • Ability to prepare structured lessons for portfolio building students.
  • Commitment to maintaining current industry knowledge.
  • 3-4 years' professional industry experience (highly desirable).
Working Hours
  • Teaching may take place during the day, early evenings.
  • Typical weekly hours flexible to pursue other professional commitments.
  • Freelance, part time contract.
