Freelance Class Instructor - Salus Spa at Aldwark Manor Estate Hotel

Aldwark Manor Estate is a privately owned Hotel with Golf nestled in a picturesque village between York and Harrogate. Set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside, this luxury Hotel provides a complete escape for both business and leisure guests and is a popular venue for weddings.

In recent years, the hotel has undergone significant investment and renovation, transforming the bedrooms, restaurant, residents' lounge, sports bar and all public areas to deliver a refined and contemporary guest experience.

December 2025 marked the completion and opening of the new Salus Spa facilities, further enhancing the estate's luxury leisure offering. The next phase of development will see the addition of new bedrooms, expanded event spaces and additional treatment rooms, all scheduled to open later this year.

Salus Spa at Aldwark Manor Estate is looking for an External Freelance Class Instructor to inspire members and hotel residents towards healthier lifestyles. You will develop and customize fitness programs, deliver personal training sessions tailored to individual goals and promote your services within a new environment growing its members.

Our facilities have recently opened and you will have access to industry leading equipment including TechnoGym. The ideal candidate with an variety of different fitness class and be a certified personal trainer.

• Deliver safe, enjoyable, and motivating group fitness classes to a consistently high standard, ensuring participants of all abilities feel welcome and supported.
• Demonstrate correct exercise techniques and provide suitable progressions and regressions to accommodate different fitness levels and any relevant medical considerations.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, customer service, and presentation at all times, acting as an ambassador for the Spa.
• Report any damaged or faulty equipment immediately to the Spa & Leisure Management Team.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the class area before, during, and after each session.
• Encourage members to achieve their fitness goals by providing motivation, guidance, and positive feedback throughout each class.
• Promote other fitness classes, spa facilities, memberships, and wellness services where appropriate to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain valid industry-recognised fitness qualifications, insurance, and CPD requirements relevant to the classes being delivered.
• Work collaboratively with the Spa & Leisure team to ensure a seamless guest experience and support the overall operation of the department.
