OverviewJoin a renowned national contractor recognized for expertise in infrastructure maintenance and engineering across sectors including the Environment Agency, National Highways, and Network Rail. As a Framework Director, you will lead the delivery of vital frameworks, ensuring safety, quality, and sustainable growth within the Engineering Business Unit.
Role SummaryAs the Framework Director, you will manage civil-related frameworks supporting major clients such as National Highways, Drax, SSE, and Canals and River Trust. Your focus will be on safety, commercial success, and client relationships, driving business development and fostering a high-performing team culture. This role oversees an annual framework valued at approximately £20 million.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership in SHEQ: Maintain high standards of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality, ensuring project teams are trained and compliant.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to meet objectives.
- Contract Management: Oversee the lifecycle of contracts, ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue growth opportunities in collaboration with operations and business development teams.
- Operational Oversight: Manage multiple contracts, focusing organizational efforts on key business objectives while supporting project teams.
- Commercial Performance: Work with the commercial team to monitor performance, manage forecasts, and ensure timely payments.
- Strategy Development: Lead strategic planning for the business unit, including annual and long-term plans.
- Extensive experience in senior leadership roles within multidisciplinary engineering environments.
- Engineering degree (Bachelor's or higher).
- Chartership (CEng, MICE, or FICE) is highly desirable.
- Proven success managing multidisciplinary maintenance engineering projects across civil engineering, power stations, heritage repairs, bridges, and highways.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills.
