Job Description

FPGA-Entwickler/Embedded-Engineer

Location: Remote from Germany

Language: German

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months Freelance Contract

Task

  • Development, implementation, and optimization of FPGA-based solutions
  • Creation and maintenance of VHDL modules
  • Embedded software development in C/C++ for Microcontroller and softcore architectures
  • Integration and configuration of softcores
  • Analysis, implementation, and testing of communication protocols
  • Development, adaptation, and debugging of video interfaces
  • Close collaboration with hardware, software, and system development teams
  • Several years of professional experience as an Embedded engineer with a focus on FPGA and VHDL
  • In-depth knowledge of Embedded C/C++ development
  • Experience with FPGA toolchains (Lattice Diamond, Intel Quartus, or similar)
  • Know-how in working with softcore processors (preferably NIOS II)
  • Good knowledge of modern communication protocols (USB, Ethernet)
  • Experience in implementing video interfaces (DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI)
  • Independent, structured way of working and reliable documentation
