Most people will die from diseases that are largely preventable. BlueHealth exists to change that.

We are building an AI-powered platform that transforms complex health data into clear, personalized actions that improve healthspan and reduce long-term disease risk. The platform combines blood biomarkers, genetic and family history data, preventive health protocols, AI-driven insights, and long-term tracking.

This is not an idea-stage project. BlueHealth is funded for 36 months through a national innovation grant and is being developed in partnership with Instituto i3S, University of Porto, and one of the biggest AI labs in Portugal.

About Unlimit

BlueHealth is incubated by Unlimit (), an innovation consultancy firm dedicated to accelerating the innovation roadmap of large companies through startup/lean methodologies.

The team includes ex-McKinsey consultants, experienced startup founders (with products reaching 2M+ active users), and innovation leaders. In Portugal, Unlimit works with some of the most innovative companies (NOS, EDP, and others), and globally collaborates with startups across AI, Fintech, Cleantech, and related industries.

Who You Will Work With

You will work directly with:

• leading biomedical researchers from Instituto i3S
• operators and builders working at the intersection of AI and health
• founders with experience building a Y Combinator-backed company and 2M+ active users

The Role

This is not a typical role. You will operate across product, science, and operations, working closely with the founder and research partners.

Your responsibility is simple to describe but difficult to execute. Turn cutting-edge scientific knowledge into a product that people can understand, trust, and use. You will help define both what BlueHealth becomes and how it gets there.

What You Will Do

• Drive the day-to-day progress of the project and ensure consistent execution
• Coordinate across developers, researchers, and medical professionals
• Translate research outputs into concrete product decisions
• Define priorities and help shape the product roadmap
• Structure and support clinical validation efforts
• Participate in discussions around biomarkers, protocols, and positioning
• Work closely with the founder on strategic decisions
• Help recruit doctors and early users
• Define what the first real version of BlueHealth looks like in the market

• You are comfortable operating without perfect information and still moving forward
• You take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
• You are able to communicate clearly with both technical and medical stakeholders
• You create structure where none exists and improve it over time
• You operate with autonomy and make high-quality decisions quickly

This Role Is Likely a Good Fit If

• You have experience building or operating early-stage products
