SATURDAY MASH UP! LIVEReturning in 2025, Saturday Mash Up! is part of BBC Studios Kids & Family, aimed at children aged 6-12. It features gunge, games, and giddiness, designed to entertain and engage our young audience.
We are passionate about creating inspiring stories that promote curiosity, creativity, energy, and inclusivity, helping children thrive and creating shows that become future nostalgia.
The show includes a variety of content, guests, games, and energy within a live weekly format.
THE ROLEThe Forward Planning Team is responsible for booking celebrity guests and preparing segments in advance.
The team lines up top talent to travel to Glasgow and join us in the studio, covering hot topics, trends, social media, dance moves, or box office hits, keeping us connected with our audience.
Working alongside the FWD Planning AP and Producer, the Fwd Planning Researcher schedules and sources guests for the weekly show.
We seek an experienced Researcher who is a confident communicator, has experience working with talent or contributors, and enjoys generating ideas.
Previous studio experience is not required for this role.
The Researcher is not required in studio except for pre-records, which happen twice during the run. The working week is Monday to Friday, including some location work.
