Saturday Mash Up! is back for 2025. Part of the BBC Studios Kids & Family business, Saturday Mash Up! is exploding with gunge, games and giddiness, and designed to appeal to a CBBC audience aged 6-12 years old.

Saturday Mash Up is no exception and delivers a wide variety of content, guests, games and energy within a live weekly show.

THE ROLE

The Forward Planning Team is responsible for booking celebrity guests and setting up items in advance.

The team lines up top talent to travel to Glasgow and join us in the studio - covering the latest hot topics, trends, socials, dance moves or box office hits. Keeping us bang up to date and eye to eye with our audiences.

Working alongside the FWD Planning AP and Producer, the Fwd Planning Researcher is responsible for scheduling and sourcing guests for the weekly show.

We're looking for an experienced Researcher who is a confident communicator and has experience working with talent and/or contributors, and enjoys coming up with ideas.

Previous studio experience isn't required for this role.

The Forward Planning Researcher isn't required in studio apart from the pre-records which happen twice in the run. The working week is Mon-Fri including some location work.
