What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Director of the Formulation Unit to lead and promote the development of new and innovative formulations that comply with current quality standards and regulations.

You will work at our headquarters in Olérdola, in the province of Barcelona, and play a key role in the transition to more efficient and environmentally friendly agriculture.

Key responabilities:

1. Department Management

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the formulation team.
• Establish goals and objectives aligned with the company's strategy.
• Manage both internal and external development projects, focusing on deadlines, costs, and international regulations.

2. Product Development

• Lead the formulation of new chemical and biological products.
• Implement continuous improvements to existing formulations.
• Collaborate with R&D to transform prototypes into scalable commercial solutions.
• Optimize production processes, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.

3. Regulatory Compliance

• In cooperation with the regulatory affairs department, ensure that all products comply with national and international regulations.
• Stay up to date with chemical and biological regulations affecting ingredients and final products.

4. Quality Management

• Prepare and manage documentation related to product development in the context of the Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System.
• Develop and implement quality control policies for production processes and final products.

5. Interdepartmental Collaboration

• Work closely with the production, sales, and marketing departments.
• Provide technical support and training to other departments as needed.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or pharmacy.
• Master's degree in formulation.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the formulation of chemical and biological products.
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and project management.
• Passion for innovation, sustainability, and excellence.
• Languages: Spanish and English.
