Over de functie As a Forklift Operator DHL Freight, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods at a modern terminal in Houten. You work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, safety, and efficiency are essential in daily operations.
As a Forklift Operator DHL Freight, you handle a combination of physical and logistical tasks and play a key role in keeping shipments on schedule. You work closely with colleagues and maintain control over the process throughout your shift.
Your activities consist of:

• Loading and unloading trucks to ensure shipments are handled on time
• Moving goods within the warehouse using a forklift and other equipment
• Scanning and checking shipments for accuracy and quality
• Organizing and securing goods for safe transport
• Working together with colleagues to maintain an efficient workflow

You work as a Forklift Operator DHL Freight in a 3-shift system with fixed rotating schedules:

• Morning shift from 07:00 to 15:30
• Afternoon shift from 16:00 to 00:30
• Night shift from 23:00 to 07:30

As a Forklift Operator DHL Freight, you will receive a temporary contract with a prospect for the future and work in a structured and professional logistics environment.

• An hourly wage starting from €15.61
• A temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position
• A full-time role of 40 hours per week
• 30% shift allowance for work between 6PM and 6AM (18:00 - 06:00)
• Work at a modern, well-equipped terminal in Houten

Functie-eisen

• Valid forklift certificate is a plus.
• Experience in logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
• Physically fit for lifting and warehouse tasks.
• Resides near Houten, Nieuwegein, or Utrecht.
• Willing to work in a rotating 3-shift system.
