Responsibilities

As a Forklift Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient flow of materials across the Dungannon site. Working as part of a team, you will support Production and Stores operations by delivering materials on time, to specification and in line with standard work, within a fast paced manufacturing environment.

• Operate forklifts and other Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently, including Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Pallet Stacker.
• Transport materials between Stores, Production and other designated areas.
• Load and unload material deliveries, ensuring correct handling and storage.
• Support Production through the timely and accurate supply of parts.
• Carry out daily equipment checks and report any defects promptly.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and system records.
• Adhere to inventory control procedures to support stock accuracy.
• Comply with all health & safety, environmental and waste management procedures.
• Follow Standard Work instructions and site operating procedures.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation (5S).
• Carry out additional duties as required in line with the role.

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse or industrial environment.
• Valid PIT licence (Counterbalance essential).
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
• Self motivated with a proactive approach to work.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
• A continuous improvement mindset.
