Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Sidcup

Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00-18:30

Contract: Temporary PAYE via Pertemps

Pay: £13.50 per hour

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Reach / Counterbalance Forklift Driver / FLT Operative on a temporary basis to provide essential cover. The successful candidate must be confident operating both Counterbalance and Reach trucks (in date, external license - B1 Forklift License and D1 Forklift License) and willing to support a variety of warehouse duties - this is not just a forklift role, and hands on manual handling will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Counterbalance and Reach trucks (B1 and D1) safely.
• Picking pallets, sheets, and cartons, including packing where needed.
• Assisting with unloading vehicles.
• Completing put away of pallets and cases.
• General warehouse duties and manual handling tasks.

Additional Requirements

• Full driving licence is essential, as the forklift truck driver will occasionally be required to bring lorries into the yard in the evening when needed.
• Ability to work independently and within a small team.
• Good attention to detail and safety awareness.
