Food Technology Teacher

Location: Secondary Schools & Academies, Chesterfield

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Full Time

Salary: £168.80 - £262 per day (Paid to scale from Day 1)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Food Technology Teacher to support various secondary schools and academies across Chesterfield.

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Foster a safe and engaging workshop environment focusing on practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
• Plan and deliver creative lessons that inspire students to excel in technical subjects.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Design Technology or Food Technology in a UK secondary setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student safety in workshop environments.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
