Location: CambridgeshireStart Date: September 2026Contract: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £32,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)
REED Education is delighted to be working in partnership with an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in Cambridgeshire to support the recruitment of a Food Technology Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.
The school is seeking a passionate and practical Food Technology specialist who can deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be joining a collaborative department that values creativity, strong outcomes, and high-quality learning experiences for students.
The Role
- Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons at KS3 and KS4
- Inspire students to develop practical skills, confidence, and creativity
- Manage practical classrooms safely and effectively
- Contribute positively to the wider Design & Technology department
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred
- Unqualified teachers with strong, recent UK secondary school experience will be considered
- Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
- A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
