Food Service Assistant (Part Time)
Location: Sunlight House, Unilever Campus, Kingston upon Thames
Salary: £14.80 per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11:30am - 3:30pm
Contract: Permanent, Part Time
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Food Service Assistant to join our catering team at the new Unilever Campus in Kingston upon Thames. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver a high-quality food service experience while working in a modern corporate environment.
As a Food Service Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operation of the catering service, ensuring customers receive excellent service in a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
What you'll do- Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to company standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout food service areas.
- Replenish stock and rotate products correctly.
- Assist with manual handling tasks where required.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Support colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the catering operation.
- A positive, customer-focused attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a busy catering environment.
- Experience in food service or hospitality is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of stock rotation and manual handling procedures is beneficial.
- Reliability and a willingness to learn.
- £14.80 per hour.
