SummaryThe National Trust operates 185 cafes, tea rooms and restaurants across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We are looking for a Food & Beverage Team Member to join the Newquay team, helping guests enjoy memorable visits.
Contract DetailsContract type: Zero hour contract - hours are flexible and may vary. Contract duration: Fixed term until 03 Oct 2026.
Salary: £12.75 per hour.
What it's like to work hereAs a team member you'll focus on front of house duties, welcoming guests, providing outstanding service and ensuring high standards of food and drink preparation and presentation. Teamwork and adaptability are key in a lively, constantly on the go environment.
You will receive induction, allergen and food safety training, plus any mentoring required. Further professional training and development is available.
Responsibilities• Welcome and assist guests, including making recommendations and providing accurate information.
• Maintain high standards of service and appearance of displays and signage.
• Support kitchen staff with food preparation when needed.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures and comply with the National Trust's policies.
