Contract type: This is a zero hour contract, meaning we can't guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We'll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts. Salary: £12.75 per hour. For this role, you'll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form - this helps us understand more about your strengths and gives you more information on the role.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Team Member, your main focus will be front of house, dealing directly with people. You'll welcome and look after everyone who comes to the café, ensuring an outstanding service. The business is lively and constantly on the go, so teamwork and adaptability are crucial. You will help guests understand what they want, assist with recommendations, and maintain high standards of food and drink preparation and presentation. Using your eye for detail, you'll keep displays and signs accurate and attractive. You may also be asked to help the kitchen team with food preparation. We will provide you with a role specific induction, training in allergens and food safety, and any mentoring needed. You can sign up for further professional training and development if you wish.
