Job Description

The National Trust is renowned for its food and hospitality. We run 185 cafes, tea rooms and restaurants all over England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and we'd love you to join us. We're looking for a Food and Beverage Team Member. In this role, you'd be making a real difference to the work of the National Trust, as well as helping to give people a memorable day out.

Contract Details
  • Zero hour contract, no guaranteed hours per week.
  • Fixed term until 06 Nov 2026.
  • Seasonal, flexible schedule; includes weekends and bank holidays, no evening or split shifts.
  • Hourly rate £12.75.
  • Assessment required instead of CV.

Responsibilities

Front of house focus: welcoming and serving customers in the café. Provide outstanding service, adapt to a busy environment, and work closely with the team. Understand customer preferences, make recommendations, maintain high standards of food and drink preparation and presentation, ensure displays and signage are accurate and attractive, and assist the kitchen with food preparation when required.

Qualifications
  • No prior experience required, but you are a people person, enjoy working in a team, and are enthusiastic about learning.
