Job Description

Role: Food & Beverage Assistant - Geko
Location: Seaham Hall, County Durham
Hours: Full & Part Time hours on a zero hour contract, including weekends & bank holidays.
Relationships: General Manager, Kitchen team, Food & Beverage team

We are looking to expand our current team in Geko and are offering full and part time hours.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience in a similar role required - restaurant/bar/reception.
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail to ensure the 5 star standard of service is delivered consistently.
  • Knowledge of Simphony software is advantageous.
  • Ability to effectively interact with management, team members and guests in a professional manner.
  • Be a team player as well as an individual worker.
  • Must have transport.
  • Provide attentive service during the meal and watch for special requests.
  • Assist in the general cleaning of your working areas.
  • Take every opportunity to upsell - desserts, starters, drinks etc.
  • Attend work consistently, well groomed, in uniform.
  • Be willing to attend training and gain an understanding of the menu to be able to offer guidance and recommendations to guests.
