Job Overview

A well established, highly reputable packaging company is looking for someone to manage the operation of finishing equipment, particularly folding machines, maintaining quality, efficiency and safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of folding machines and other finishing equipment.
• Ensure that the correct job is set up on the machine, and monitor and maintain the quality of work produced.
• Make adjustments to maintain quality and output.
• Keep the machine area in a safe, tidy condition and conduct stock checks on machine parts, re ordering when necessary.

Requirements

• Extensive finishing experience.
• Flexible team player able to manage work in accordance with deadlines and changing priorities.
• Open minded, adaptable, and quick to learn new techniques.
• Organised, takes pride in the working environment.
• Must be resident in the UK and have worked recently in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
