Due to our continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our organisation in the role of (FM) Facilities Manager.
The Role
Scope of position: Harvey Group Representative for Planned and Response Maintenance for assigned Customer Contracts. Continually review these contracts and efficiently manage resource of Engineers, Sub-Contractors and Supply Chain to deliver our operations within Contract Budgets to target margin.
- Monitoring progression on site, and day to day operations
- Liaising with internal departments and stakeholders
- Monitor performance and progression against the contracts program
- Maintaining a proactive culture towards the health and safety of all aspects of the site
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors
- Organising and attending progress meetings where required, updating relevant parties on tasks, timelines to ensure smooth running of projects.
- Management of Projects - Carrying out tasks including the control of safety; quality; environmental impact; document control; procurement; reporting; financial return; sourcing material through our supply chain; labour; programming; commissioning and handover.
- Management of Contractual obligations.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance work with contractors and service providers.
- Gain knowledge of FM software and tools used for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
The Person
Essential
- Strong ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
- Client focused approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Good personal management and organisational skills
- Attention to detail, the ability to produce accurate and timely information.
- To organise resource, workload and achieve set objectives, even where there are conflicting demands and priorities.
- Team Player willing to assist others with a 'Can - Do' attitude, flexible and consistent friendly approach.
- Resourceful, proactive and the ability to think on your feet.
- Good problem-solving skills and having the initiative to deliver.
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
Desirable but not essential
- Technical qualifications to or above HNC level in a relevant discipline
- Health and Safety qualifications
