Flutter Mobile App Intern

Amsterdam / Munich / Remote Fashion x Tech Startup Internship (Full-time or Part-time)

ViWear is an early-stage startup at the intersection of fashion and AI. We're building an intelligent mobile app to personalize how people discover, wear, and express style. Our goal is to bridge the gap between personal taste, digital wardrobes, and real-world fashion.

We're now looking for a Flutter Mobile App Intern to join our team and help bring our vision to life. If you're passionate about technology, eager to learn, and excited to help build something from the ground up, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As part of our cross-functional product team, you will:

• Develop and maintain our mobile app using Flutter and Dart.
• Work directly with the founders, designers, and engineers to deliver new features and improvements.
• Collaborate on architecture and state management (currently using Provider, but open to evolution).
• Debug, test, and optimize app performance using Flutter DevTools and related tools.
• Integrate third-party services and cloud features (e.g. Firebase, GCP).
• Contribute to code quality through best practices, documentation, and testing.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who's hands-on, proactive, and eager to grow. You may still be studying or already have some practical experience. Either way, we care more about your mindset and ability to learn than formal qualifications.

We'd like you to have:

• Experience with Flutter and Dart (personal projects or coursework are welcome).
• Familiarity with design patterns and state management (e.g. MVVM, Provider).
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and dependency injection.
• Experience using Git and working in collaborative code environments.
• Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative, international mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with REST APIs, WebSockets, or Firebase services (Crashlytics, Analytics, Messaging, etc.).
• Interest or experience in concurrency and multithreading development.
• Experience building complex, fluid UX animations in mobile development.
• A background or interest in fashion, consumer apps, or e-commerce.
