Flutter Lead Mobile Developer

We're searching for a Senior mobile Developer/ Mobile Architect(Flutter) to lead a team of engineers in a long-term, high-impact digital transformation project.

Responsibilities:

Architecture & Strategy

• Define and govern mobile architecture (Flutter)
• Ensure code quality and best practices (e.g., Dart Code Metrics)
• Balance technical debt with feature delivery

Team Leadership

• Lead a cross-functional team ( 8 engineers)
• Drive delivery performance, motivation, and team success
• Promote engineering excellence and high standards

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Architects
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to estimations and strategic decisions

Technical Excellence

• Provide clear technical guidelines and structure
• Perform code reviews and contribute to critical components
• Ensure scalability, consistency, and maintainability

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in mobile development
• Strong expertise in Flutter (architecture, state management, best practices)
• Proven experience leading technical teams (6+ people)
• Strong communication and consulting skills
• Experience in architecture definition and governance
• Knowledge of CI/CD and native mobile technologies (iOS/Android)

Other Relevant Information:

• Receptive to work on an hybrid model regime (2x/ peer week)
• Located in Porto
• Good fluency in English
