Job Title: FLT Operative & Packing Operative
Location: Highbridge
Job Type: Temporary (2 month contract, may extend)
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Working Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Role OverviewHRGO Recruitment is looking for a reliable, hardworking FLT Operative & Packing Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. This hands on role involves forklift truck operation, polishing finished products, and packing goods for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities- Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Polishing finished products to the required quality standards
- Packing products for storage and dispatch
- Loading and unloading materials as required
- Assisting with general warehouse and production duties
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting the wider team to ensure production targets are met
- Previous forklift licence experience required
- Must be able to drive due to location
- Valid forklift licence desirable; candidates with out of date or in house licences will be considered, with a refresher course provided
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments advantageous
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to carry out manual handling and physical tasks
