Access Talent Group are currently recruiting for a UK Medium sized design consultancy who are looking for a Flood risk consultant in London.

This consultancy is building upon recent success and growth plans in their London office within the Hydrology and flood team. They are looking for a consultant with 2 - 4 years experience who has worked in both the public and private sector. This team will support the Civil and structures team but will work on diverse projects across the UK team. You will be working in sectors such as, Commercial and industrial, Sporting facilities, Urban regeneration, Civil Infrastructure / Development Infrastructure.

Key responsibilities
  • Experience of producing FRA's and drainage strategies
  • Experience with budgeting and project management
  • Can draft concise reports for other sectors to use
  • Be forward thinking to look into drainage and flood constraints
Attributes
  • Have a degree within engineering or geography
  • Working towards or have obtained Professional qualification
  • Experience within 1D/ 2D hydraulic models
  • Experience with Microdrainage / InfoDrainage, Tuflow, GIS and Flood modeller pro
  • Understand WINFAP and ReFH2 estimation handbook
  • UK driving licence
  • 25 days of paid annual leave, increasing to 28 days with length of service
