About the Role

We are seeking an engaging and skilled Fleet Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the Fleet Manager to ensure the Council's fleet remains compliant, efficient and fit for purpose. A key part of your role will involve developing vehicle specifications and managing systems that support our vehicle replacement strategy and procurement processes, ensuring we source and maintain vehicles that meet operational needs and legislative requirements

A full, current driving licence (minimum Cat B) is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a sound understanding of IT systems. Experience in procurement and contract management is advantageous.
