Driver Trainer / Instructor / Assessor needed in Peterborough and various Locations Across Great Britain
Pay: £105 per half day Up to £210 per full day
Contract: Freelance, Self-Employed - Flexible Working Available
PDT Fleet Training Solutions is one of the UK's fastest-growing providers of fleet driver training, supporting prestigious clients nationwide with professional driver development, assessments, and compliance training.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers, Instructors, and Assessors across Great Britain. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who can deliver multiple categories of training, alongside fleet driver assessments and coaching.
The Role: As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging driver development programmes, inductions, and assessments both in the classroom and on the road.
Key responsibilities- Delivering half-day and full-day driver coaching and assessment sessions
- Conducting driver inductions and upgrade training
- Delivering training primarily in Category B vehicles, including vans
- Promoting safe and professional driving behaviours
- Completing accurate assessment reports following each session
- Delivering professional classroom presentations using provided course material
We're seeking professional, personable trainers who are passionate about driver safety and development.
- Experience delivering fleet driver training and assessments
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- A proactive and engaging training style
- Strong knowledge of safe driving best practice
- Access to your own laptop and printer
- Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) Fleet Trainer accreditation
- LGV National Instructor Register (NIR) registration
- Experience delivering electric vehicle driver training
- B+E trailer towing training experience
