The role

As a Fleet Compliance Officer, you will support the validation and management of legal and compliance data to help ensure customer operated vehicles are safe, road legal and fully compliant. Working closely with the SMRI Team Leader, you'll play a key role within our Phoenix Fleet Management Team, contributing to the effective delivery of a world class fleet management service.

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Validating vehicle, legal and compliance data using the Clarity Manager IT system.
  • Reviewing information from multiple data sources, including lease providers and external databases such as the DVLA and VOSA.
  • Applying a structured matrix of checks to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Supporting the identification and resolution of data discrepancies, escalating issues where required.
  • Working closely with the SMRI Team Leader and wider fleet management colleagues to maintain high compliance standards.

This is a full time, fixed term contract for 52 weeks, offering a hybrid working pattern.

Essential experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Experience in fleet management or a related transport environment.
  • Knowledge of the transport industry and vehicle compliance requirements.
Qualifications

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
