Role Overview

If you're a GP who wants to provide high quality care in a community with high health needs - and also wants work life balance - this could be the place for you.

Responsibilities

GP workload at Riverside is carefully managed, including:

• minute face to face appointments per day, plus two telephone slots
• Shared duty doctor days and home visit days, supported by a specialist paramedic
• Access to pre bookable phone and face to face slots for patient follow up
• Dedicated daily time for administrative tasks

Same day care is supported by CWIC Direct, a nurse led self referral local health board team located next door, and direct access to local health board run MSK, CTACS and mental health services.

Team & Support

We have a stable team of 50 staff members, including full time GPs, chronic disease nurse specialists, a specialist paramedic, treatment room nursing, phlebotomy, a substance use nurse, and a pharmacy team. Emergency support is provided by a specialist paramedic and other team members with well stocked kits.
