First Line IT Support (SC) - 11 month contract - Somerset - £150.00 per day
Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a First Line IT Support to work at a leading consultancy client on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will work within a dynamic Support team and will provide expertise in resolving technical queries and will also provide asset management functions to assist with managing the deployment of hardware.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide first line level support of hardware issues and troubleshooting fixes where required
- Managing tickets as they arise, and ensuring appropriate updates and call management to maintain Service levels
- Stock management including asset management of kit going in/out
- Effective Management of disposals that go through the process
- Triage and perform hardware repairs of client kit
- Locker replenishments where appropriate
- Highlight potential issues with service/potential service improvements
Experience required:
- Previous experience of working in a technical support role, or a break/fix role related to PC's and devices
- Hardware knowledge including laptops and desktops
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues in the most efficient way
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience in managing and deploying hardware assets
- Ability to raise and log tickets where required
- Flexibility as to working hours (work on OOH rota may be required)
- Due to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold, or be eligible and willing to undergo, a certain level of security clearance (SC)
