Job Description

Madisons Recruitment are looking for x3 Fire Stoppers to start ASAP in Greenwich and South London for a long term ongoing contract with a view of going permanent.

We are currently looking for an experienced Fire Protection Supervisor to join our team on a long-term basis. This role involves overseeing fire protection works on-site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You'll supervise fire stopping and fire door teams, liaise with clients, and support management in achieving business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of designated sites.
  • Supervise site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed efficiently and to specification.
  • Monitor compliance with all legal, statutory, and health & safety requirements.
  • Act as the customer service lead on-site, maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Manage multiple workstreams and coordinate daily site activities.
  • Support management in meeting contractual and business requirements.
  • Attend and lead site meetings with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Uphold professional standards and ensure site teams represent the company positively.

Requirements

  • SSSTs/SMSTs (Essential)
  • CSCS card (desirable).
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Enhanced DBS check (essential).
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Joinery or a relevant trade, or equivalent proven experience.
  • Willingness to work towards FIRAS Accreditation (essential).
  • Proven experience as a Supervisor in fire protection works.
  • Experience in social housing, healthcare, or retail sectors.
  • Background in supervising fire stopping/fire door installers.
  • Strong knowledge of site Health & Safety.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work under pressure.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic with personal drive.
  • Capable of working independently and using own initiative.
