EHS International is recruiting for a skilled Fire Risk Assessor on behalf of a client committed to building safer environments. What You'll Do:
  • Conduct detailed fire risk assessments in line with legislation and best practice.
  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Deliver tailored reports that support each site's unique fire safety needs.
  • Advise on active/passive protection, evacuation planning, and fire safety design.
  • Work directly with clients and stakeholders to implement recommendations.
  • Support the development of emergency plans, fire policies, and staff training.
  • Stay informed on regulations and guidance within the UK & Ireland fire safety landscape.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in fire risk assessment across different buildings or sectors.
  • Recognised qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate, IFE, IFSM).
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Organised and proactive with strong time management.
  • UK / Irish driving licence (if site travel is required).
Requirements
  • Membership with a fire safety professional body (IFE, IFSM, FRACS).
  • Experience in social housing, healthcare, education, or industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with fire safety reporting software.
