Site-Based Fire Alarm Engineer

Location: Central London

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

Contract: Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Site-Based Fire Alarm Engineer to
join a well-established fire and security business supporting
site in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an
engineer who enjoys autonomy, problem solving, and taking
ownership of a site while working with industry-leading fire
detection and life safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine
servicing.
Diagnose faults and complete minor repairs on fire alarm
systems.
Attend emergency callouts and resolve issues efficiently.
Maintain accurate service records, worksheets, and compliance
documentation.
Build strong relationships with the on-site client.
Identify opportunities to improve system performance.
Attend training and stay up to date with industry standards and
technology.
Escalate critical issues and provide practical solutions when
required.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm
systems.
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of systems such as Notifier, Kentec, Advanced,
Simplex, Voice Alarm, Gas Suppression and HSSD would be highly
advantageous.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Commitment to compliance and life-safety standards.
