Financial Reporting Officer

Nexeo is currently looking for a Financial Reporting Officer for a leading financial institution in Brussels.

Nexeo Belgium is a consultancy company supporting clients in the banking, finance, and insurance sectors throughout all phases of their transformation projects, from business consulting to IT solution implementation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support in the segregation of duties analysis and transfer of operational tasks from Finance to Operations.
• Document processes and assist in e-invoicing implementation.
• Propose improvements for controls and processes in the finance department.
• Prepare internal audit missions and analyze ways to reduce manual entries.
• Learn operational tasks (e.g., payments and reconciliation) and act as a back-up for team members.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, accounting, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, MS Office (Excel, Access), and automation tools.
• Fluent in French and English; good knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
