Financial Reporting Manager

We are working closely with a leading, high-growth business in Rotherham to recruit a talented Financial Reporting Manager to join their finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping financial strategy, ensuring robust reporting, and driving continuous improvement within a forward-thinking organisation.

As Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while delivering accurate and timely insights to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Managing the external audit process and liaising with auditors
• Providing technical accounting guidance across the business
• Driving improvements in reporting processes and controls
• Supporting senior stakeholders with financial analysis and strategic insight

This role will suit a proactive and detail oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You will ideally have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Proven experience in financial reporting and / or audit
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• A continuous improvement mindset with demonstrable analytical ability
