Your new role
As FP+A Accountant, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing meaningful financial insight and supporting key commercial decisions.This is a high-visibility role that combines financial analysis, data interpretation and stakeholder engagement. You will support budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting activities while helping to improve the quality and accessibility of business data.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.
• Analysing financial and operational data to provide actionable business insights.
• Developing and enhancing management reporting and performance dashboards.
• Working with stakeholders across the business to understand performance drivers and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis.
• Building, manipulating and interpreting large datasets to support commercial objectives.
• Helping to improve reporting processes, systems and data quality.
• Presenting analysis and recommendations to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in using data to support business performance.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data.
• Experience building and interpreting financial models and reports.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate data into meaningful business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and continually develop.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Confidence engaging with colleagues at varying levels across an organisation.

Experience with Power Query, Power Pivot and other data manipulation tools would be highly advantageous. Previous Financial Planning & Analysis experience is desirable but not essential, as the business is keen to appoint an individual with strong data capability, commercial acumen and the right attitude.
