Job Description

An established and highly regarded financial planning firm based near York is looking to appoint an experienced Office Administrator to support its growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous financial services administration experience who enjoys working in a professional, client-focused environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business while supporting advisers, paraplanners, and clients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing general office administration, including telephone calls, emails, and post

  • Processing client applications and submitting new business accurately and efficiently

  • Placing investment trades and fund switches as instructed

  • Liaising with providers and clients to obtain and update information

  • Maintaining internal systems, records, and client data

  • Coordinating annual client reviews and appointments

  • Preparing documentation and reports for client meetings

  • Providing administrative support to advisers and paraplanners

  • Helping to deliver an outstanding client experience

What We're Looking For

  • Previous administration experience within financial services is essential

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • A professional, friendly, and team-oriented attitude
