Financial Lines Account Handler

Overview

No broker wants to be handling unnecessary compliance and navigating through convoluted processes all day. This role focuses on placing and renewing client insurance work in a smooth, sensible environment where you can crack on with essential insurance tasks. This large broking house differentiates itself by actively empowering its people, including offering remote work and reducing process and compliance to focus on the insurance work.

Moving here from a national brokerage or insurer will open your eyes to how brokerages should operate.

Responsibilities

• Your day-to-day will involve managing the placement and renewal of PI-based construction and miscellaneous risks for large corporate entities.
• Coverage spans across FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 down to larger mid-market clientele, requiring a more detailed and tailored approach.
• You will work in support to one of the top Executives in the UK market in this field, benefiting from ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to rapidly improve client and technical skills.

Qualifications / Experience

• Ideally, you'll have a background or interest in professional indemnity insurance from either a broker, underwriting, or claims background.
• Based somewhere across the Central Belt.
