Job Description
Financial Crime, Risk & Reg Technology - Senior Manager

London, United Kingdom

We set out to build the world's most trusted consulting firm - creating lasting impact for clients and pioneering a positive, people first way of working. We work with everyone from FTSE 100 names to bright new start ups, in every sector. You'll find us collaborating shoulder to shoulder with our clients, from the big picture right down to the detail: helping them define their strategy, deliver complex change, spot the right commercial opportunities, manage risk, or bring their purpose and sustainability goals to life. Our clients love how we get to know what makes their organisations tick - slotting seamlessly into their teams and being proudly geeky about solving their challenges. We have hubs in Europe, the US, Asia and Australia, and we work all around the world - from a wind farm in Wyoming to a boardroom in Berlin. Find us wherever there's a challenge to be tackled and an impact to be made.

Our Finance, Risk & Compliance practice are looking for an experienced Financial Crime Senior Manager to join the team.

Our business seeks to bring insight and perspective and have lasting impact for our clients, the environment, and on the communities where we live and work. We help our clients to better understand how financial crime can be carried out through their organisations and to put in place targeted controls, enabling them to manage this risk efficiently.

What you will be doing
  • Assessing and benchmarking the effectiveness of firms' Financial Crime controls against regulation, legislation, and industry best practices.
  • Designing, implementing and/or optimising Financial Crime technology solutions such as client lifecycle management and KYC capture, transaction monitoring, customer screening and payment screening.
  • Delivering data quality assessments, data transformation/data integration (ETL) and data visualisation.
  • Experience working with and demonstrable knowledge of vendor products commonly used to combat Financial Crime.
  • Designing and implementing a range of key Financial Crime controls, translating regulatory requirements into business and functional requirements that describe the system, data, process, and control changes required to achieve compliance.
  • Leading the planning and delivery of Financial Crime change programmes and projects.
  • As a key part of our leadership team, you will help shape and drive a breadth of exciting and transformational financial crime work across our client base. We are a fast growing team and as a result, you will find opportunity to shape our consulting solutions and our go to market propositions and help build our FinCrime brand through:
    • Developing our Financial Crime propositions in line with industry trends and client demand.
    • Raising visibility of our Financial Crime capability, both internally and externally.
    • Supporting the development of innovative Financial Crime thought leadership.
    • Playing a lead role in business development activities by identifying new business opportunities, responding to requests for proposals, and proactively networking.
Your skills and experience
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills, thriving in a team environment.
  • Experience working with SQL, Python, VBA, or other programming languages is desired.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and testing a broad range of Financial Crime controls.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the current Financial Crime legal and regulatory landscape and key regulatory initiatives.
  • The ability to take ownership and deliver results in challenging client facing environments.
