Job Description

  • Ensure financial controls are effectively designed, implemented, and maintained.
  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders on financial control matters.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of financial processes.
  • Support the implementation of new accounting standards and policies.
  • Work closely with internal audit teams to address control gaps.
  • Develop and deliver training on financial controls to relevant teams.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for senior management.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance financial governance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controls Business Partner should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial controls and processes.
  • Experience in the insurance industry or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
