Interim Financial Controller
- Annual Salary: Circa £65,000 Pro Rata (£250-£300 per day)

- Job Type: Hybrid (3-6 Month Fixed-Term Contract / Interim Assignment)
A well-established organisation in Redhill is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their finance team on an interim basis for an initial period of 3-6 months. This hands-on role is ideal for a qualified finance professional who can quickly integrate into the business, provide stability to the finance function, and support senior stakeholders during a busy period of change. With a hybrid working pattern, this opportunity is perfect for someone available at short notice or immediately.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the day-to-day finance function and manage a small team.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and board reporting packs.
- Lead month-end and year-end processes.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital reporting.
- Review and improve financial controls and processes.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Business partner with senior leadership and operational managers.
- Liaise with external auditors and relevant third parties.
- Provide financial analysis to support key business decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
- Previous experience operating at Financial Controller level.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to quickly understand processes and identify improvements.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Available to start within a short notice period.
