Financial Controller

A hands-on Financial Controller role in a growing international SME, taking ownership of reporting, compliance, audit and financial controls. You'll work closely with senior leadership to strengthen the finance function and support the business through its next phase of growth.

Description

• Ownership of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Leading the annual audit process
• Enhancing financial controls, governance and compliance
• Supporting senior stakeholders with financial insight and decision making
• Driving process improvements and systems development
• Supporting future growth initiatives, including potential acquisitions
• Managing and developing a small finance team

Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting and audit experience
• Financial Controller or senior Finance Manager background
• Experience within an SME or growth business environment
• Confident dealing with senior leadership and non-finance stakeholders
• Hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset

Job Offer

• Salary circa £80,000 (some flexibility for the right individual)
• Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days home)
