Financial Consultant

We are seeking a Financial Consultant to join our dynamic team. Provide professional financial support to AOC and its affiliates, ensuring timely maintenance of financial records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and resolution of complex accounting issues. Recommend and implement process improvements and policy updates to enhance Accounting and Reporting, fostering an optimal business environment for the organization

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the month-end financial close process, including full consolidation of subsidiaries and branches, maintaining documentation and analysis for audit and compliance.
• Prepare auditor-reviewed quarterly consolidated financials for the mandated group of entities.
• Prepare statutory financial statements for multiple entities and perform consolidations in accordance with relevant standards.
• Manage audits with external auditors and local management teams.
• Draft the Directors' Report and coordinate the collection of information from internal stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of financial and management reports for parent company stakeholders.
• Align with the Tax Unit on tax compliance activities and maintain

Requirements

• Bachelor (/Master) degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field
• Combination of Big 4 and industry experience is a must
• Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately in English (Dutch is a plus)
• Minimum of 9 years of progressive technical work experience in external audit, financial reporting, consolidation, financial statement preparation
• Strong understanding of IFRS standards and its application
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, S4/HANA, SAP Central Finance, advanced skills in Excel
• Experience with BPC is a plus
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
